I had this terrible experience with what I consider an extremely immoral behavior of people that installs any code they wish accross the firewall. This type of access allows them to gain absolute control of one's transactions. I couldn't help thinking that if people are capable of one immoral behavior, they are also capable of other immoral behaviors.
Would you give the keys of your house and the password of your alarm system to strangers that have shown themselves capable of behaving immorally?
What could immoral people do with your confidential data? What could they do with millions of computers?
Have you read ALL the programming code that has been installed in your computer by these strangers that produce "optimizing" software?
A possible lesson: buy optimizing software from your mom, or from the SEC or from a most highly reputed company.
This blog has been created after a frightening experience with developers of supposedly optimizing software. I installed their code allowing them all permissions and authority to modify my software and install anything they wanted. They killed my computer and they didn't care. I think that this behavior reveals extreme immorality and demands deep reflections. The product I installed and knocked down my computer was "Advanced System Optimizer V3", but perhaps there are other cases.

My Experience with Advanced System Optimizer
I bought from an American store and downloaded Advanced System Optimizar made by Systweak from India.
The experience was frightening. In the last step of the installation process, it killed my machine, a Sony Vaio VGN AP270.
The horrible part was that the support people from Systweak wouldn't answer until after I managed, with great exhaustion on my part, to exert pressure on them through the American store.
One whole week passed with absolutely no sign of concern on their part, despite my insistence. To close my incident they pretended -cynically- to resolve my case by suggesting me the steps to undo the changes and advising me to go get my machine fixed all at my expense. They accepted abolutely no responibility for the damage done. This repair work was to be done by engineers and included disassembling the machine to remove the hard drive to access it from other computer, and so on.
What amazed me was the extreme immorality of these people. They simply kept refusing to answer, even though they knew the damage they had done.
It is very scary the thought of allowing entrance and full authority to people capable of such immoral behavior into the very core of the engine that processes our credit card and bank account numbers.
Perhaps I am the only victim of Systweak. Perhaps there are others. Perhaps there are other immoral optimizing software manufactures. The purpose of this blog is to find out.
I think all users who have been damaged by the reckless business practices of immoral software manufacturers must try to take vigorous action to stop these people from damaging others. Or to pay accordingly, if they do.
Perhaps we can find legal advice.
I refer only facts that I can prove.
