My Experience with Advanced System Optimizer

I bought from an American store and downloaded Advanced System Optimizar made by Systweak from India.

The experience was frightening. In the last step of the installation process, it killed my machine, a Sony Vaio VGN AP270.

The horrible part was that the support people from Systweak wouldn't answer until after I managed, with great exhaustion on my part, to exert pressure on them through the American store.

One whole week passed with absolutely no sign of concern on their part, despite my insistence. To close my incident they pretended -cynically- to resolve my case by suggesting me the steps to undo the changes and advising me to go get my machine fixed all at my expense. They accepted abolutely no responibility for the damage done. This repair work was to be done by engineers and included disassembling the machine to remove the hard drive to access it from other computer, and so on.

What amazed me was the extreme immorality of these people. They simply kept refusing to answer, even though they knew the damage they had done.

It is very scary the thought of allowing entrance and full authority to people capable of such immoral behavior into the very core of the engine that processes our credit card and bank account numbers.

Perhaps I am the only victim of Systweak. Perhaps there are others. Perhaps there are other immoral optimizing software manufactures. The purpose of this blog is to find out.

I think all users who have been damaged by the reckless business practices of immoral software manufacturers must try to take vigorous action to stop these people from damaging others. Or to pay accordingly, if they do.

Perhaps we can find legal advice.

I refer only facts that I can prove.
